Dr. Carson’s story is one of extraordinary perseverance, faith, and achievement. Through his mother’s guidance, strict expectations, and deep faith in God, he developed a love for reading and a determination to succeed that would ultimately transform his life.

That transformation led him to become one of the most renowned neurosurgeons in the world. Dr. Carson gained international recognition as the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he performed groundbreaking procedures, including the first successful separation of conjoined twins joined at the back of the head.

From humble beginnings to global impact, Dr. Carson’s life is a powerful testament to what can happen when faith meets determination.
